Hey everyone, I've decided to cancel this Monday's class so as to take advantage of the extended long weekend and beautiful summer weather. 
We will resume the Summer Session on MONDAY JULY 7th.

8 WEEK SESSION:  may 12th - july 7th,  2014  
Mondays  6:00 - 7:15pm   
As the world bursts into bloom, the chirping of birds fills the air and we prepare to move into a more social and outwardly focused time of year. Our yoga practice this session will tap into the seasonal energies of growth, expansion, openness, creative expression, compassion and connection. 
Using wisdom and techniques from the Traditions of Hatha Yoga and Yin Yoga, Five Elements Acupuncture andTaoist philosophy, Acupressure and Meridian theory and Mindful Meditation, our practice this session will focus on twists, back bends and heart opening poses, arm balances, and inversions, core strength postures and heart centred meditation.
8 WEEK SESSION $60 - $120 sliding scale if paid in full by week 2

NEW PWYC SPRING YOGA SESSION!

The ice starts to melt, the seeds start to sprout and intentions begin to take form.
Our spring yoga practice will focus on flexibility of spine, twisting, flowing, focus and balance to facilitate tapping into the fresh young, upward rising energy of the Wood Element associated with growth, new ideas, the liver and gallbladder, sleeping and dreaming, emotional balance, decision making,  planning, vision, imagination and finding ones true path. Class open to all levels including new students.  Mats available at the studio.

 Winter is a time to rest, rejuvenate and discover the potency of stillness and receptivity.  By honouring the energy of the season, we can protect our reserves and regenerate our vital forces in the same way that sap descends to the roots of plants where the life forces are stored and protected in order to prepare for spring growth.
This winter join us for a new 8 week session designed
to cultivate body awareness, intuition, patience, stillness and  trust.  Through a unique routine combining yin yoga, hatha yoga flow, acupressure points and mindfulness meditation we will explore our inner landscape to improve quality of sleep while fostering a state conducive to receiving inspiration for creative projects and new life directions. Increase vitality, endurance, energy, strength and mobility, resiliency to stress and burn out,and a sense of connection to the power and mystery of the dormant season.  
CLASS IS OPEN TO ALL LEVELS
